College Facilities
St. Francis P.U. College has a set of well equipped laboratories with modern equipments. The spacious labs provide a comfortable working atmosphere for students. The class rooms are equally spacious and well furnished. The college possesses an Audio-Visual Room complete with OHP and LCD facilities.

Another addition to the college infra structure is the Audio Visual Room available for course-related viewing of visual media. Faculty-selected DVDs are loaded and students view them in groups after reserving the room. The AV room can accommodate 160 people.


Practical work follows the basic principle of Learning by doing. The students gets an opportunity to actively participate in the learning process.


By doing experiments students learn how to handle and operate apparatus etc. Practical work helps in acquiring of scientific knowledge and scientific outlook, the twin main objectives of teaching science.


Validity of the concepts learned by the students can be tested by experimentation. This satisfies basic human desire of knowledge of what, how and why of things.

computer LAB

Computerization is another concept widely utilized by the institution. The office is completely computerized. The admission procedure, the fees collection and other documentation being computerized makes the office system highly efficient,Internet facility is also provided by the college. Staff and students can avail this facility for reference purposes.
Lab work develops scientific attitude and scientific temper.By doing experiments, students are motivated to know more and more of subject.

College counselling center offers individual counselling for students who are slow learners. Counselling is also provided for adjustment, emotional and anxiety related problems of the students. Family counselling is also available to facilitate parents and students resolve their interpersonal conflicts.Group counselling is provided for students with regard to drug abuse.


The Library holds a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, magazines, journals, audio-visuals, CDs/DVDs, previous years question papers and project reports to meet present and future information requirement of the students and the faculties.
The library is fully automated with the help of Library Automation Software EASYLIB. The Library is constantly updated with the latest books of knowledge.
